The Museum of the Roman Theater of Cartagena offers the possibility of holding a workshop for school - oriented knowledge about the city in the ancient world, from the Carthaginian foundation. The city as a stage of the contest between Carthaginians and Romans. Roman conquest, and one of the most emblematic of the city, the Roman theater stood up under Augustus buildings.
CONTENT
A brief history of Qart Hadast to Carthage. Students will learn the most important events of the Second Punic War and its protagonists, Hannibal and Scipio, as well as one of the most emblematic of antiquity, the Roman theater stood up under Augustus buildings.
How was the architecture of the Roman theater ?, how the plays were performed?
METHODOLOGY
The aim of the workshop is to achieve a practical and fun a body of knowledge about the most important events of the Second Punic War, but also about some of the great buildings of shows that left us by the Romans.
To do this, first you will be transferred in a pleasant knowledge needed by a brief audiovisual explanation, then visit the museum.
The activity will be completed in the theater, where the school will be part of a troop or legion, equipped with proper weapons will participate in a battle of questions and celebrate the triumph in the Roman Theater in Cartagena
