The Roman Theater Cartagena Foundation is a foundation belonging to the Autonomous Community of Murcia sector with full legal capacity to act within the limits set by its statutes and the laws. Said Foundation was established with contributions from the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the City of Cartagena and Caja de Ahorros de Murcia. The Board is the governing body, representation and administration of the Foundation.

In accordance with Article 3 of the Law on Public Sector Contracts , the Roman Theater Cartagena Foundation is part of the public sector, being considered a contracting authority, so it is necessary to adapt their recruitment processes to the new regulatory framework, distinguishing this effect between contracts subject to harmonized regulation and contracts not subject to harmonized regulation.
