Corinthian Bases and Shafts made of Pink Travertine. End of the 1st Century BC.

The bases on the first floor of the stage are made of the same material of the capitals, being of a composite type. The columns are made of pink travertine, from the Cerro de la Almagra (Mula), some seventy kilometres from Cartagena.

The project to restore the Roman Theater in Cartagena has seen the integration of the remains into the urban fabric and its proper preservation and exhibition of educational and cultural purposes.
