Bronze signet ring with rectangular stamp containing the engraving L(uci) Porci(ii) Valeriani. Los Porcii which is widely thought to originate from the coast of the Tarraconensis region during the 1st and 2nd centuries A.D. In Cartagena, the only person to have one was the Monetal Triumval L(ucius) Porc(ius) Capit(o), who was IIvir quinquennal during the rule of Augustus.
Among the uses of this type of seal was the validation and guaranteeing of public and private document as well a mark of distinction applied to food or manufactured products.
