Saturday May 18.

The Roman Theater Museum will be open on May 18 from 10:00 a.m. - 01:00 a.m.

The western portico will remain open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with entrance through the Callejón de la Soledad.

TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS:

LVX PETRAE II by JM Díaz Burgos

The Roman Theater has been the centerpiece and inspiration of Lux Petrae II. The monument is now once again a living element two millennia later thanks to Díaz Burgos, who has portrayed it with his renowned ability to locate what is human and everyday in any landscape, to convert the exotic into something almost domestic. The artist gives us a wonderful project made from the heart, but also from long days of field work.

MARY, CRYSTAL DREAMS by Joaquina López de Alarcón

The exhibition takes us on an intense journey through the living space and literary universe of Maria Cegarra and brings us closer to the exciting world of a different poet, a woman of science who ended up landing in literature. The artist meets María between the mines, the laboratory and the classrooms; She observes her touring the coves, the rocks and the landscapes of Cabo de Palos, because her life and her work cannot be understood far from those broken mountain ranges, the sand, the dunes, the field and the sea.
