PICASSO 360º

The common thread of the exhibition revolves around the visit that Picasso made to our city in September 1895. In that year Cartagena received a 13-year-old boy carrying his painter's belongings. He had a stopover on a trip from Barcelona to Malaga, where he had grown up. The young Picasso spent a few days in the city without noise, without anything that manifested a notoriety that he did not yet have. One of those days, he planted his traveling easel on the dock, facing the Arsenal, and began to paint.

The artists wanted to represent the complexity of the life of the Malaga native and examine it from different perspectives and with various techniques. Acrylic and oil painting, drawings, mixed techniques, sculpture, photography and video are some of the artistic works that can be seen in Picasso 360°
