The poetry of exile of Publio Ovidio Nasón (Sulmona, 43 a. C.-Tomis, 17 d. C.), composed during the last ten years of his life, has exerted a powerful shadow reached, even today, the city Constanta (Romania), the ancient Tomis, stage of exile.

The photographs in this exhibition and seek to recreate video from the photographic fiction, the emotional landscape of the exile of Ovid. Surge in them the topographic extent of his poetic legend, as is the scenario lived around the statues or plaques commemorating streets and squares of person. But this Photographica Ovidian outcropping in places impregnated by the unseen ovidiano rumor evoked in the nineteenth century by AleksandrPushkin. Immersed in this spirit admired the softness of memory claimed by Ovidio both wheat fields and sunflowers in the region of Dobrogea, the Black Sea port -the Ponto Euxino- or -Istrio- river Danube Delta, as in the sediment classical friezes and Greek tombstones in Histria, or anchors, amphorae and Roman mosaics Constance.

Artistic presences, urban everyday uses possessed by a random old timeless, and, above all, the longed posterity of his poetic writing, also transcend the birthstone city of Ovidio, Sulmona Does your patria¿ in the Italian province of L¿Aquila, praised from the nostalgic vocation and misery of loneliness in distant lands border.
