The Roman Theatre Museum has scheduled various family activities and guided tours with Cartagena Puerto de Culturas for March and April, including Holy Week . For Holy Week, the Roman Theatre is also extending its opening hours and days . It will be open on Holy Monday, March 30, and Easter Monday, April 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from Tuesday to Holy Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, April 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A FABLE-STYLE THEATER. Family Activity.
Participants will discover, through a dynamic tour, how fables and ancient plays have reached us. Learn how books were stored and what theatrical performances were like. We will journey back in time, guided by Augustus, who founded the first public libraries in Rome, and arrive at the Roman theater, where we will participate in a comedy by Plautus.
Location: Roman Theater Museum. Days: Saturdays in March and April. Time: 11:30 a.m. Price: 4 euros

THEATER TO THE DOMUS OF THE PORTICO.  
The route will begin at the Roman Theatre Museum, and upon leaving the monument, we will continue to one of the most typical corners of the old Fishermen's Quarter, the Callejon de la Soledad (Alley of Solitude), to visit the preserved remains of the Domus of the Portico .
Location: Roman Theatre Museum and Domus of the Portico. Days: Sundays in March and April. Time: 11:00 a.m. Price: €7. 

LUCRECIA PRIMA, CITIZEN OF CARTHAGO NOVA. Guided Tour.
This guided tour reveals the daily life of Lucretia Prima in ancient Carthago Nova, exploring the city's main monuments, from her family home, the Domus della Fortuna (House of Fortune), to the forum, the Sanctuary of Isis, a relaxing bath in the Roman baths, and attending the theater with her husband.
Route: House of Fortune, Forum District, and Roman Theater. Days: Sundays in March and April. Time: 11:00 AM. Departure from the House of Fortune. Price: €16 individual, €14 concession. Free for members of the Cartagena Puerto de Culturas Friends Club and Family Club. 

THE TIME MACHINE. Discover the Roman Theatre with virtual reality.
 A guided tour of the Roman Theatre Museum in Cartagena with virtual reality will allow you to immerse yourself in the ancient building through a 3D recreation displayed on tablets. You can visualize what the Roman theatre looked like in the 1st century, see the virtually reconstructed painted decoration of the portico, and much more. Guided tour with tablets.
Location: Roman Theatre Museum. Dates: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Time: 6:00 PM. Price: €12 individual, €10 concession.  Location: Roman Theatre Museum. Duration: 1.5 hours.   Number of people: 25

ROMAN AND MEDITERRANEAN CARTAGENA. Guided tour with boat trip.
Cartagena became one of the most important metropolises in the Mediterranean in antiquity. The tour begins at the Roman Theatre Museum, which reflects the power of Rome, and continues to the Forum Museum, the Spanish Pompeii, where you'll find the Roman Baths, majestic buildings with paintings, and sacred sites such as the sanctuary of Isis and Serapis. Furthermore, Cartagena cannot be fully understood without considering its proximity to the sea. Thus, this tour concludes with a boat trip around the bay where Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, and Romans once sailed.

CARTHAGO NOVA: ROME AND FLAVORS. GOURMET GUIDED TOUR. 
On this guided tour, we will explore the city's strategic role through the Roman Theatre Museum and the Roman Forum, where we will learn the stories of merchants, navigators, and the products that crossed the Mare Nostrum to reach its docks. The experience will culminate with a tasting at the Baths, inspired by those products that arrived by sea, such as exotic perfumes, oil, spiced wines, garum, and salted fish. A sensory journey that will allow us to savor history and discover how the sea brought not only wealth but also culture, tradition, and flavor. 
Dates:  March 21, 28, and 31, and April 1, 11, 18, and 25. Route: Roman Theatre Museum and Roman Forum Museum, followed by a gastronomic tasting at the Baths.   Time: 10:30 a.m. from the Roman Theatre Museum. Price: 25 euros. 

TEO JONES AND THE LEGEND OF THE FIRST MERMAID. THEATRICAL TOUR. 
Five actors, on ancient Roman and Carthaginian stages, will bring to life a crazy adventure where Teo, the absent-minded archaeologist, and his friends—the intrepid Sara, the hilarious mummy, and a wacky bus driver—find themselves caught up in a mysterious legend. They must protect the magical song of the sirens before the forces of evil seize power and destroy Cartagena. 
Dates: March 22 and 29, and every Sunday in April and May (except April 5). 
Route: Roman Theatre, Tourist Bus, and Punic Wall. Time: 11:30 a.m. from the Roman Theatre Museum. Price: €18. Cartagena Puerto de Culturas Club Membership: 50% discount.
