This activity will explore how the Romans celebrated the Saturnalia festival, which coincides with our Christmas season. Following the tour, visitors will explore the museum galleries, discovering further details about the festivities through the eyes of Augustus himself, who was known for his enthusiasm for giving a wide variety of gifts during the Saturnalia. The activity will conclude at the Roman Theatre, where visitors will be treated to a musical performance featuring percussion instruments, allowing them to experience the building's acoustics firsthand.

ROMAN AND MEDITERRANEAN CARTAGENA. Guided tour with boat trip
Cartagena became one of the most important metropolises in the Mediterranean during antiquity. The route begins at the Roman Theatre Museum, which reflects the power of Rome, and continues to the Forum Museum, the Spanish Pompeii, where the Roman Baths, majestic buildings adorned with paintings, and sacred sites such as the sanctuary of Isis and Serapis are located. Furthermore, Cartagena cannot be fully understood without considering its proximity to the sea. Thus, this route concludes with a boat trip around the bay where Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, and Romans once sailed.
Tour: Roman Theatre Museum, Roman Forum Museum, and a tourist boat trip around the bay.

A guided tour that reveals the daily life of Lucretia Prima in ancient Carthago Nova, taking you through the city's main monuments, from her family home, the Domus della Fortuna, to the forum, the sanctuary of Isis, taking a relaxing bath in the thermal baths, or attending the theater with her husband.

ASCLEPIUS. 2,000 YEARS OF A HILL. Guided tour
A route to discover the cultures and civilizations of Cartagena from the earliest times and enjoy the best panoramic views. We will explore Roman urban planning, the medieval heritage, and the port as the city's central feature.
The route begins at the Panoramic Elevator, leading to the Castle of the Conception, from where the entire city can be seen. The visit continues past the Old Cathedral Church until reaching the Roman Theatre Museum.
Tour: Panoramic Elevator, Concepción Castle, and Roman Theatre Museum.
Days: Saturdays in January.
Time: 11:00 a.m. Departure from the Panoramic Elevator.

FROM THE THEATER TO THE DOMUS OF THE PORTICO.
The route will begin at the Roman Theatre Museum and upon leaving the monument we will continue towards one of the most typical corners of the old Fishermen's Quarter, the alley of Solitude, to visit the remains preserved in the Domus of the Portico.
